A project in the heart of the City of London at the junction of Moorgate and South Place. The initial scaffold was erected to facilitate the removal of the existing granite cladding by the demolition contractor. This scaffold was then struck and re-erected for the purpose of installing the new cladding and windows.
Access was maintained to the Barclays Bank ATMs within the pedestrian gantries on both Moorgate and South Place. Back propping was installed down through two basement levels to support the smoke vents on South Place.
Due to the high volume of pedestrian traffic in this location, the gantries were erected at the weekend with the City of London allowing us to park our vehicle on the pavement.
